Informatics Study Program of UPN Veteran Jawa Timur Receives ASIIN International Accreditation

Surabaya, October 25, 2025 — Great pride filled the 96th Graduation Ceremony of UPN Veteran Jawa Timur. On this historic occasion, the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science, officially received the ASIIN International Accreditation certificate, presented directly by the Rector of UPN Veteran Jawa Timue, Prof. Dr. Ir. Akhmad Fauzi, M.MT., IPU.

The certificate was received directly by the Coordinator of the Informatics Study Program, Fetty Tri Anggraeny, S.Kom., M.Kom., representing the entire academic community of the Faculty of Computer Science. The presentation took place during the solemn graduation ceremony at the Giri Loka Building of UPN Veteran East Java.

Achieving this international accreditation marks a significant milestone in the Informatics Study Program’s journey towards global recognition. ASIIN is a German-based international accreditation agency that assesses higher education quality standards based on curriculum, learning outcomes, and a comprehensive quality assurance system.

In his remarks, Prof. Akhmad Fauzi expressed his deep appreciation to the entire academic community for their hard work and ongoing commitment to maintaining academic quality and superior governance.

“This international accreditation is proof that UPN Veteran Jawa Timur is capable of competing globally. This achievement motivates all study programs to continue innovating and improving the quality of learning,” said Prof. Fauzi.

Meanwhile, Fetty Tri Anggraeny, S.Kom., M.Kom., stated that this success is the result of synergy between lecturers, students, alumni, and industry partners who support the international quality assurance and assessment process.

With ASIIN international accreditation, the Informatics Study Program further strengthens its reputation as one of the leading study programs at UPN Veteran Jawa Timur.
